Official Publisher of Judicial Council Forms
This Request for Proposals (RFP) was issued on August 3, 2006, to solicit proposals to become the Official Publisher of California Judicial Council Forms.
The Judicial Council develops forms for use in California trial and appellate courts. The Official Publisher assists the council in the development and production of new and revised forms. The official publisher is primarily responsible for producing the camera-ready high qualiity print versions of the forms for distribution to the courts, and will also prepare them in electronic versions for posting on the California Courts Web site. The Official Publisher also publishes the forms in paper or electronic versions.
During the term of the contract contemplated by this proposal, the successful bidder will be exclusively authorized to call, advertise, and promote itself as the Official Publisher of California Judicial Council Forms. The Official Publisher will not be the only publisher of Judicial Council forms for the public, but will be listed first in the list of forms publishers on the California Courts Web site and identified there as the Official Publisher.
The Official Publisher will be selected for an initial term from approximately September 20, 2006 to June 30, 2007. The AOC will have two full one-year options to extend the term on the same terms and conditions, for a total of approximately three years if both options are exercised.
Only written proposals will be accepted. Proposals should be sent by U.S. Mail, common carrier, overnight delivery service (with proof of delivery), or hand delivery. Per Addendum #1, Proposals must be received by the Administrative Office of the Courts, at the address provided below, no later than the revised due date and time of 1 p.m., on September 8, 2006.

There will be no pre-proposal bidder's conference for this Request for Proposal (RFP). Any questions regarding this RFP No. OGC-080106 must be sent to solicitations@jud.ca.gov no later than 1:00 p.m., August 10, 2006.
