Introduction and Mission Statement

The purpose of the Court and Community Collaboration project, sponsored by the Judicial Council of California, is to improve the courts' ability to maximize resources, meet increasing demands and improve public confidence. The project's two-part approach emphasizes the establishment of Community-Focused Court Planning in California's trial courts and the design and implementation of Court Community Outreach programs at the local level.
